Maruti Grand Vitara 2025 – New Features

- First off, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara gets a comprehensive safety update. Maruti now offer their flagship SUV with 6 airbags as standard. This safety feature was earlier limited to the Zeta, Zeta Plus, Alpha and Alpha Plus variants. Other standard safety features include 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, hill hold assist, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, ESP, seatbelt reminders, and ISOFIX child seat mounts, among others.
- Continuing with the safety theme, Maruti now offer a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) from the Delta mild-hybrid variant onwards. This feature was earlier limited to the top Alpha Plus strong-hybrid variant.
- The panoramic sunroof, which was earlier offered in the Alpha, Zeta Plus and Alpha Plus variants is now an optional feature. Now, customers who require a panoramic sunroof can get this feature in the Zeta and Alpha mild-hybrid variants and Zeta Plus and Alpha Plus strong-hybrid variants by paying an additional sum of Rs. 60,000.
With the latest update, Maruti are now offering several features, which were earlier limited to the strong-hybrid variant, in the mild-hybrid variants. These include:
- 7-inch digital instrument cluster (Zeta onwards)
- Ventilated front seats (Zeta onwards)
- Wireless charger (Zeta onwards)
Maruti have added a few comfort and convenience-enhancing features to the 2025 Grand Vitara:
- 8-way powered driver’s seat (Alpha onwards)
- Rear sunshade (Zeta onwards)
- LED cabin lamp (Zeta onwards)
- Air purifier with PM2.5 display (Zeta onwards)
With the latest update, certain variants of the Grand Vitara 2025 have lost a few features as well.
- The Zeta Plus strong-hybrid variant no longer offers a head-up display (HUD). This feature is now limited to the top Alpha mild-hybrid and Alpha Plus strong-hybrid variants only
- The base Sigma variant no longer offers electrically-foldable ORVMs, height adjustable driver’s seat, vanity mirror (driver + co-passenger), and chrome inside door handles.
