2025 Skoda Kodiaq Design And Features
The latest iteration of the Kodiaq boasts Skoda’s new ‘Modern Solid’ design language, resulting in a more contemporary appearance. Design highlights include a distinctive quad headlamp setup where the upper light clusters seamlessly merge with a larger version of Skoda’s signature butterfly grille. The Selection L&K variant gets an LED strip connecting the headlights and extending to the bumper’s edges.
The rear profile is equally striking, showcasing C-shaped wraparound LED tail lamps connected by a light bar, along with prominent ‘Skoda’ lettering in the centre and 4×4 badging. It also gets matrix projector headlamps and LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs).
As the variant names suggest, the Kodiaq Sportline gets a sporty appearance with a blacked-out treatment across various exterior elements and an all-black cabin. The Kodiaq Selection L&K, on the other hand, offers oodles of chrome and tan upholstery. Both variants are offered with 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the new Kodiaq offers a significant step up in terms of technology and premium feel. The cabin features a prominent 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system that integrates most vehicle controls, complemented by a 10-inch ‘Virtual Cockpit’ digital instrument display. A notable change is the relocation of the automatic transmission gear selector to behind the steering wheel, freeing up valuable storage space in the centre console.
The India-spec Kodiaq offers 9 airbags, a sliding panoramic sunroof, and a 725W Canton sound system with 13 speakers and a sub-woofer for an immersive audio experience. Additionally, rolling sunblinds in the rear windows further enhance privacy and passenger comfort. The steering wheel adopts a modern 2-spoke design in the L&K variant while the Sportline gets a sportier 3-spoke design.
