2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Vs. Rivals Mileage Comparison

The new Dzire sedan is offered with Suzuki’s new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 81.6PS of power and 112Nm of torque. Maruti Suzuki claim the new Dzire offers a mileage of 24.79kmpl with the manual transmission and 25.71kmpl with the automatic transmission. Compared to the old Dzire, the new model is more efficient, offering a significant jump in mileage of 3.34 – 3.16kmpl depending on the transmission. These figures are about 14-15% higher than the old Dzire.

The new 1.2-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine makes the Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2024 the most fuel efficient sedan in its segment by a fair margin. The Hyundai Aura, which is powered by a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder normal petrol engine, takes the second spot in terms of mileage. The Tata Tigor is close behind in third spot while the Honda Amaze stands last on the list of most fuel efficient B2-segment sedans that are currently on sale in India.

The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2024 is also available with a 1.2L, 3-cylinder CNG engine. Here’s how the Dzire CNG’s claimed mileage compares against its rivals: 

The 2024 Dzire CNG is the most fuel-efficient B2-segment sedan money can buy right now. However, the Dzire CNG is only available with a manual transmission whereas the Tigor is offered with a 5-speed AMT gearbox for a 2-pedal driving experience.
