Nissan Magnite Facelift – New Vs Old Dimensions & Styling Comparison

The Magnite facelift shares the same dimensions as the model it replaces. Apart from subtle styling differences, the only noticeable difference between the Magnite facelift and the discontinued model is the smaller 14-inch spare tyre in the updated model. The Magnite continues to offer a ground clearance of 205mm and a boot space of 336 litres.

In terms of styling, the Magnite facelift looks similar to the older model. However, the new model distinguishes itself from the older one with a wider, bolder chrome grille with piano black surrounds that connect the LED projector headlamps on either side. The boomerang-shaped LED DRLs are retained while the lower bumper gets new faux silver skid plates that house the fog lamps. 

Around the side, the Magnite facelift gets new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, the tailgate and bumper are the same as the ones on the outgoing model. However, the refreshed SUV gets new LED taillamps with an M-shaped lighting signature.

On the inside, the cabin gets minimal changes. While the dashboard gets the same layout as before, the top Tekna Plus variant now gets a black and orange finish with soft-touch materials. The top variant of the Magnite facelift also get a leather-wrapped steering wheel, parking brake lever, quilted leather seats, door trims, and front and rear armrests.

Nissan Magnite Facelift – New Vs Old Engine Specs Comparison

In terms of engine specs, the new Magnite facelift does not get any major changes. Nissan continue to offer the Magnite with 4 powertrain options – a 1.0L normal petrol-manual, 1.0L normal petrol-AMT, 1.0L turbo petrol-manual, and a 1.0L normal petrol-CVT.

The Magnite facelift’s 1.0L normal petrol engine produces 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque, which is the same as the outgoing model. However, the claimed fuel efficiency of the normal petrol-manual powertrain has improved by 0.5kmpl.  

The 1.0L turbo petrol that’s offered as option for the mid and top variants of the Magnite facelift remains unchanged. However, Nissan claim a marginally lower fuel efficiency for the turbo petrol-manual powertrain.

2024 Nissan Magite Facelift Variant-Wise Prices

The Magnite facelift is available in 6 variants – Visia, Visia Plus, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna Plus. Nissan offer the normal petrol-manual powertrain in all variants of the 2024 Magnite. The normal petrol-AMT powertrain is available in all variants except the Visia Plus. The turbo petrol-manual powertrain is available in the top 3 variants, while the turbo petrol-CVT is available in the top 4 variants.

The 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift is priced from Rs. 5.99 lakh to Rs. 11.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The prices of the Magnite base normal petrol manual and automatic variants are the same as the outgoing model. The base Magnite N-Connecta turbo petrol-manual variant’s price remains unchanged as well. However, it is worth noting that these are special introductory prices that are valid only for the first 10,000 deliveries.

New Vs. Old Magnite Feature Comparison

In terms of features, the Magnite facelift retains many features from the older model while adding more safety features. For instance, the Magnite facelift is offered with 6 airbags as standard while the now-discontinued Magnite only offered dual airbags in all variants. Other new features include:

• Frameless auto-dimming IRVM
• Cooled glovebox
• 4-colour ambient lighting
• Rear Type-C USB charging ports
• Plasma cluster ioniser

Nissan have retained features such as the hexagonal AC vents, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charter, and the digital driver’s display. The latter now gets configurable layouts, which was not available in the old Magnite.  

New Vs. Old Magnite Colour Options

While Nissan have carried over all the old colour options, they have added a new colour called Sunrise Orange Copper with mono-tone and dual-tone options.
